Camp Taloali 50th Year GALA

Camp Taloali is proud to announce that we will be having our 50th year anniversary event during the Labor Day weekend 2024. It will occur from August 30th to September 2nd. We will have activities on the itinerary to fill your evenings. On Friday night, we will have a Wine & Cheese Social. During the Wine & Cheese Social, we will be hosting an auction and a silent auction, for all of you to bid on a variety of items. This will be a great weekend to let your competitive side show! On Saturday evening, we will have a huge celebration. You will be taken for a ride on Memory Lane and commemorate Camp Taloali's past 50 years of achievements. We will recognize and honor those who stood strong to ensure that Camp Taloali continued its mission by serving Deaf and Hard of Hearing youths. We will provide dinner and drawings for various prizes. The purpose of this Gala is to fundraise money and make the campgrounds more accessible for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth. It's our aim to demolish the restroom and shower building and to set up a new system. We are hoping to raise enough funds to meet our goal of a $1 million budget to ensure all costs involved are met. It's our objective to raise the money to ensure that each camper will be able to use the bathroom and shower facilities comfortably. The new restroom and shower facilities will also attract more visitors and renters which will generate greater profits. The monies we receive from the visitors and renters will continue to keep the cost low for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing children to be able to attend summer camp.
